Early Beginnings:
A Love for Art

My fascination with art started early. One of my favorite childhood memories is holding a camera, a gift from my parents, capturing everything that caught my eye. Those early days of experimenting with photography sparked a love for visual storytelling, something that would stay with me for life. I was always the one with a sketchbook or a camera, eager to create and share my vision of the world around me.

In 2013, I decided to take my passion for photography to a new level by sharing my work on Instagram. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a thriving online presence. My photographs, known for their unique style and ability to capture the essence of everyday moments, gained a significant following. This period was a turning point, as it introduced me to the vast possibilities of digital media and the power of social platforms to connect with audiences globally.

Academic Pursuits:
Biomedical Engineering

While my heart was in art and photography, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, driven by a fascination with science and technology. During my time at East Tennessee State University, I gained a strong foundation in technical skills and problem-solving. However, even amidst the rigorous coursework, my creative side never took a back seat.

Bridging Two Worlds:
Volunteering and Digital Media

My time in university also allowed me to merge my technical skills with my passion for creativity. For five years, I volunteered with the Saudi Students Association, taking on roles in digital media production and event management. As the Digital Media Producer, I was responsible for crafting engaging content, managing social media channels, and orchestrating events that brought the community together. This experience was invaluable, providing a practical application for my creative and organizational skills, and solidifying my interest in the marketing field.

Making the Shift:
From Biomedical to Marketing

After completing my degree in Biomedical Engineering, I realized that my true calling lay in the creative realm. The skills I honed through my studies, combined with my growing experience in digital media, guided me towards a career shift. I made the bold decision to pursue marketing, where I could blend my technical background with my passion for creativity. This led me to enroll in the Master of Science program in Integrated Marketing at New York University. Here, I delved deep into brand management, digital marketing strategies, and the latest trends in the industry, equipping myself with the tools to excel in the dynamic world of marketing.

My career trajectory has been defined by a series of roles that allowed me to expand my expertise in digital media and marketing. From freelancing as a digital creator, building a following of over 80,000 users across various platforms, to holding key positions such as Brand and Content Manager at Avicenna Cardiology, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to craft compelling narratives and engage audiences. My roles have spanned e-commerce, healthcare, and various other industries, each one adding a layer of experience to my portfolio.

Digital Media Producer  | Saudi Students Association | Ohio . US  (Jan 2014 – May 2018) 

  • Role: Volunteer as Visual and Digital Media Producer for the Saudi Students Association

  • Highlights: over four years, I played a key role in managing and producing high-quality digital content for major events, including the medics cabaret. I oversaw all social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging communication, and helped organize events, fostering a strong connection within the student community. My contributions were essential in promoting cultural exchange and enhancing the association’s visibility across platforms.
